The studio is located on the second floor of the Beyond the Sea condo building in the commercial section. The building locks the entrance doors at all time, the studioâs buzzer code is 7777 both from the street level and from the parking garage. You can also phone us for assistance â 647-926-3948.
Weâve got lots of visitor parking available in the building under-ground. Enter the P1 parking garage through the garage entrance on Legion Rd (just north off of Lake Shore). If the garage doors are not open, press the 2240 intercom button on the box to the left of the roundabout and tell the concierge you are visiting the yoga studio. Once on P1 and parked, follow the orange signage marked âDĂCOR CENTREâ (we are on the same floor). This will lead you to the 2240 elevator bank. Choose the door on the right hand side for the elevator to the commercial units. Take the elevator to floor âMâ. ALIVE is in unit 229, to the left of the elevator on the Mezzanine floor!

Spring is a great time to incorporate smoothies as part of a healthy diet but there is a right way to balance out a smoothie to reach its optimum nutritional value.
Let our nutritionist Dorothy Gornik teach you when to have smoothies, what to include in them as a snack or as a meal and how to create ones that are full of nutritional goodness. Sheâll demonstrate (and youâll taste!) a few of her favourites and recipes will be provided.
Dorothy provides one to one nutritional and lifestyle counselling that is customized to individual needs. She will work closely with you to discuss your history, lifestyle habits, health related conditions and eating preferences to help you achieve your health goals.

You will start with a 30-60 minute in person meeting to thoroughly discuss your health concerns and goals. At this point, Dorothy will provide you with her intake forms and she will fully explain them to you.
You should spend around a week filling out the intake forms. It is important that you take the time to fill these forms out conscientiously as they provide a lot of the information Dorothy needs to provide personalized advice.
Once you have returned the intake forms, you will book a 90 minute follow up meeting to discuss Dorothyâs findings. This will include your health history, system analysis of symptoms and diet and lifestyle recommendations. Depending on what you will need to acheive your goals, Dorothy will provide food lists, recipes and meal plans to support you. You will be emailed a PDF copy of all of your resources.
After that Dorothy is available by email and phone to ensure that you are getting the most of her recommendations.
The entire consultation including follow up support is an investment of $275+hst. This is payable after your inital in person meeting.
Sometimes it's hard to remember to cancel a class you've registered for or something comes up and you need to cancel at the last minute. We understand!
Unfortunately, because we have limited spots in our classes that means the spot was unavailable to our other members. To ensure that everyone has as much access to our classes as possible, we need to enforce a Missed Class & Late Cancellation policy.
We've tried to make this policy as fair and reasonable as possible and the details are below so that this policy is clear. If you have any other questions or feedback, please email us!
Our members can book and cancel their classes as much as they need to but a charge will apply for missed classes and classes cancelled within 30 minutes of their start time (late cancelled).
No worries! To make sure that the policy is clear, each members will not be charged for their first 3 missed classes and late cancellations (total, not each).
This is the most common cause of missed and late cancelled classes and one of the main reasons that we have the 3 FREEBIES. When you are on one of our waitlists, we assume that you are still hoping for a spot in the class. You can be added to the class up to 30 minutes before the class and this is based on when another member cancels. For these reasons, we ask that you please treat waitlist registrations like you would a regular registration and remove yourself if you are no longer hoping to get a spot in the class.
If you're an unlimited member, the charge is $5+hst and if you're using class passes, you will have the class deducted from your pass.
