Yoga came into Brittany’s life over a decade ago and was all about the detoxifying feeling of practicing hot yoga as a form of exercise. It wasn’t until she arrived in Spain for her 200 hour yoga teacher training in 2013 that she began to experience all of the various different aspects of a yoga practice, like learning about ancient yoga philosophy, meditation, mindfulness and the anatomy of what goes into a physical asana practice. Brittany has also completed an 85 hour prenatal yoga teacher training, a trauma informed and anti-oppression in the yoga and wellness industry training, and is currently training to become a doula.
Brittany embodies the practice of listening to her body and encourages you to do the same, both on and off the mat. The classes she leads are centered around mindful movement, accessibility and inclusivity.
During the COVID-19 lockdown, Brittany read Glennon Doyle’s book “Untamed”. A quote from the book that she now lives by is “This is hard. I can do hard things.”
